The much-talked about trishaw uncle incident with the three British dudes. Seriously, those guys are SUCH assholes. I read the article in the Newpaper today about how the old uncle's son wants them to: a) Write a sincere apology letter, b) Pay the uncle back and c) Carry three full-grown guys on a trishaw. The comments on the video are totally true, it's like some people don't have any manners. And the poor uncle, he had to hobble towards them to get his hard-earned money.

I was just watching Fantastic Four. It's official: Chris Evans is at the top of my list of the hottest guys (literally, haha) along with Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli, from Heroes). Except Chris Evans' chest is kinda hairy (and scary), and his happy trail looks a little too, erm, happy? Point is, more does not necessarily mean merrier, especially when it comes to hair. MOVING ON, Ugly Betty season 2 and Heroes season 2 are SO BLOODY EXCITING. The first episode of Ugly Betty was sad-ish. And Heroes is just plain suspensful. Oh, and Scrubs is so sad! Especially when _______ died. Okay, I shan't say more. But I realised that the on-off relationship thing with J.D and Elliot is super similar to Rachel and Ross on Friends.

Anyway, Wan Jin's leaving today for Melbourne. Oh man, I'm gonna really miss her. Wanjin, thanks for being there for me, especially in Sec 1. Happy Teachers' Day!

Be Yourself Day yesterday! Our theme in class was boys and girls. I was a boy. Jasmine lent me her friend's ACS uniform. In our class, Suyi, Bev, Jasmine, Belicia and I wore ACS uniforms. Claire wore her brother's RI uniform. I didn't look very guy-ish. But, my god, did Suyi look like a guy. Not only that. She looked like a hot-ish guy. Belicia looked like a little boy. Quite funny. Man, you should've seen Mrs Chen, Ms Ho and Mrs Sim before the concert. They were so nervous. Giselle, Zoe and I were the stage managers. Doing the mike stands, etc. Jasmine and Belicia were the runners, or 'Ms Kek's legs'. Whoa, you should've seen Jasmine's back. The ACS shirt is white right? And when Jasmine was sweating and all, you could totally see her bra. Haha. Then we went to sell Ramly burgers. I shook the president's hand! The performances were pretty awesome. Jane Lee (the P6 singer) is so crazy. But she's so funny. The P2s who sang 'God is Good' are so cute! Before they performed I was like "So, you nervous?" Then the "lead singer" was like "No, I'm not." And I said, "Wow, that's good. You're gonna be performing in front of the PRESIDENT. But still, no pressure." And she just smiled at me. So cute! Zoe and Giselle are so funny. All in all, teachers' day was really fun. Especially if you're in the comm. But it's pretty unfair that those who didn't get the badge don't get points. And some people really deserve the badge. Seeya!

Don't really wanna talk about it. But thanks Grace, Megan, Michelle, Shanice, Nicole and Claire. You guys made me feel a whole lot better.

Anyway, after school today, Cas, Vicky and I headed over to Giant to get food for tomorrow. We had to borrow money from a whole bunch of people. 'Cos 3 of us didn't really have a lot of money with us. And we spent like around $185 for the food and stuff. Yeesh. Oh, then we came back and hung around for a while and then we went to the reception for the Commendation Awards although we didn't even wein any Commendation Award. Me, Cas and Vicky had our lunch there. Haha. The food was really good. Especially the eclaires and the custard puff thingy. Jasmine was stuffing her face with the chicken. Rehearsals were pretty good. Shan Yeo is AMAZING. So flexible and stuff. The P5s are so rude and bitchy. They were really rude to Cas. Actually, come to think of it, I was sort of like that in P5 &P6. Oh man. I feel really bad. Anyway, I was talking to April, Ms. B (Divya), Cas and Krithika. So damn funny. And we stayed in school till like 7.40 or something and it was like super dark and I was freaking out. I'm really afraid of the dark. I'm like super tired now. Gonna sleep. Night Night (or as my nephew would say it: Nai Nai).

I can't stop thinking about how whenever my family goes to the US for vacation, people always ask us which part of China Singapore is in. Like whenever I go skiing and I get onto a ski lift with some Americans, they start talking to me (they're really sociable) and the conversation goes something like this

Them: Hello, where are you from?

Me: Oh, I'm from Singapore. How about you?

Them: (Some country). Which part of China is Singapore in?

Me: Uh, it's not in China. It's near Malaysia.

Them: Oh, I see. You're English is rather good.

Some Singaporeans are just SO VERY INCONSIDERATE. Last night, my parents and I went to Cricket Club for dinner, and my god, the roads were packed. People were going to the Marina Bay area for fireworks. Cricket Club was pretty full too. The view of the fireworks from Cricket Club is pretty good. We decided to head home before the fireworks, so we could beat the jam. When we drove out of the club, the roads were SO FULL. Cars double parked along both sides of the road. So we were stuck there, horns were blaring and all that. Some asshole didn't want to move his car and was blocking EVERYONE. So, my mom and dad got out of the car, and went to the asshole's car. I stuck my head outta the window (thank god there weren't any cars passing) and saw my mom shouting at the asshole, and some other guy was directing traffic. The traffic police were down the road at the wrong place. So, traffic FINALLY started moving again and we went home. Seriously, by looking at the crowd, you'd think that there's some sort of 90%-off sale or something.

E-learning week. Four days of not going to school. I like.
Spent my national day celebrating my nephew's birthday! We went to Vienna at United Square, that buffet place. My gosh, it was really packed. Thank god my cousin reserved tables in the room. But the food was pretty good. My mom was attacking the seafood. I don't blame her, the seafood was really fresh. And I ate SOOOOO much. I had like three scoops of ice cream and cake and seafood and soup and everything. As much as I like the buffet at Vienna, I still prefer the one at Raffles Hotel. THAT ONE is really really good.

Then on Saturday, I went for my uncle's wedding dinner. He's like 35, but he looks like a JC boy. We went to a Szechuan restaurant at the UOB building. It's called Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant. The tea is pretty cool. It's like they put chrysanthemum flowers, dried longan, all other sorts of tea leaves and stuff inside your cup, and they ACUTALLY have 'tea servers'. It's like they have these regular tea pots, but instead of a short spout, they have a really LONG and thin spout. And inside, it's hot water, so they pour the hot water into the cup with the stuff. It's pretty cool. Go to their website It'll tell you more about the tea serving and all that.

Anyway, school has been pretty dull. Amath test on monday was like :( But it's not like I blame Ms Goh or anything. Although many people think she sucks, I don't really think so. If you approach her personally, it's easier to understand. Trust me. Ah well, I gotta go do all my E-learning stuff now. And as the Hokkiens will say it, wa ki liao. I think that means goodbye. I'm baaack! Hah. Anyway, today's national day was pretty fun. Especially if you're sitting between andree and suyi. And if it's singing time. Our class had do a skit about Stamford Raffles. Rather exciting, but ours was like SUPER impromptu. I swear, suyi, andree and belicia came up with it yesterday. Nevertheless, good job guys. I was tenku hussein's wife and was supposed to look really beautiful. Man, I looked really icky. I wore some dress/skirt thingy that made me look pregnant. Still, the skit went pretty well. Then headed to town with my mom to buy a present for my nephew. He's turning 1 tomorrow (national day baby!). We bought him one of those fisherprice car things. Those that you can sit on and you use your feet to move around. Pretty cute.

Watched Harry Potter with my sister today. It was pretty okay. I expected it to be better though. It's REALLY short. It's like the shortest movie yet, but the longest book yet. My sister said it was really condensed, and I have to agree. Like they were rushing through everything. But the ending was stupid. Harry said something like,"He's right. There was something worth fighting for that Voldemort didn't have." And I was waiting for an answer when the stupid movie ended. I was like, wth. And there was this stupid kid in the row in front of us who I personally think was spastic or something. He stood up halfway during the movie and started doing jumping jacks. And then he started running around, the mom got up to catch him, blocked the entire bloody screen, the lady next to my sister got up and told the kid off, but he still carried on and so on. God, I was so pissed, if I were the mom, I'd just tie the kid down and gag him with a piece of cloth. Sheesh. Anyway, the scene where Harry kissed Cho was really nice. Like people were whooping and stuff and this one guy went,"Go Harry!" Haha. So yeah, that's pretty much about it. Oh, and the fighting scene was awersome. I really liked the part where the prophecies came crashing down.

Haha, I just remembered something that's really funny. Last year during our December vacation, my mom, sister and I were at Duty Free, looking at the perfume and one of the promoters was promoting the Chanel perfume, Allure, and he pronounced it REALLY funny. It was like ah-luah or something like that and three of us were staring at him, 'cos we thought he said oh-luah (oyster omelette). HAHAHAHA. Poor guy, he must have been VERY embarassed :)

HELLO. I'M BACK FROM OBS! And guess what? My two feet are covered entirely with sandfly bites. I'm totally serious. There are about fifty-something of them on both my feet. I really shouldn't have scratched them, if I didn't, they wouldn't have swelled up. Great.

Anyway, besides the stupid sandfly bites, OBS was really fun. I was in Da Gama and my instructor was Li Ping. She's super nice. I actually miss her :( Sleeping in tents was complete shit, but it was a once in a lifetime experience. I shared my tent with April and Jasmine. I hate putting the stupid tents up. It's so annoying. I was SO freaked out when I woke up in the second morning 'cos I heard people chanting. Scary eh?

Cooking wasn't too bad. Except for one of the nights, we had to cook in the dark. A romantic dinner in the dark is fine, but cooking in the dark sucks shit. It's so difficult. On the second night, I was super homesick, so I started bawling. THANKS YORK YING AND MEGAN FOR CHEERING ME UP! :)

We went to camp 1 on one of the days and learnt how to kayak! Kayaking is SO fun! We saw a jellyfish and Tracy (the trainer) just picked it up. Audrey started to rub its "head" or bell. And joan took part of its tentacles. I poked it and EW. It's so gross and slimy. We also did our height challenge thing. Ours was to do the obstacle course. I managed to do it, but I fell at the last part and I have a huge bruise on my leg. Started to rain, the obstacle couse thing was cancelled and went inside to rock climb. Rock climbing is scary! Especially when your belayer is Kim Eio.

Treked almost HALF of bloody Pulau Ubin carrying bags that were like 10kg, and I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. I swear, I thought my shoulders were gonna pop off. We treked to our next campsite, at the beach. The view was AMAZING. We could actually see Singapore! And a bunch of kellongs too. We pitched our tents, and cooked. Cooking was great. I was cooking the instant noodles and they tasted REALLY good. With Hannah's help, of course.

Next day, we had to kayak all the way back to camp 2. We were given three different routes and had to choose: One was really short, the other was to kayak through Pulau Ubin (but we have to walk in mud, carrying our kayaks because there's a swamp) and the last was to kayak AROUND the north of Pulau Ubin. Sounds crazy? Yeah, we did that one. I kayaked with Tram and April. Kayaking was really fun. And it was so funny during lunch. Everyone was throwing food around. And Tram stuffed two orange peels up both nostrils. She looked HILARIOUS. All together, we managed to kayak 21km in about 4 1/2 hours. Tiring. Then we did the jetty jump and went to cook and stuff.

I was pretty happy on the last day, 'cos I could go home to see my mommy. And then Li Ping was like, "When you guys leave OBS, you will no longer be Da Gama, but you will be your individual selves." I was SO SAD when she said that. But ah heck. We had to pay 20 something bucks for all the stuff that we loss. Amundsen had to pay like 164 bucks. Hehe. So, yeah, that's about it. And MY FACE IS REALLY TAN NOW AND I LOOK SO OLD! Megan has a really sexy sock tan. WAHAHA.

YAY. Tomorrow's technically the last day of school! But OBS right after that. Sorta looking forward to it, but I'm kinda scared of the cleanliness. Watched AMERICAN IDOL last night. I DON'T LIKE BLAKE. He can't sing well, but he's REALLY good at beatboxing. I LOVE JORDIN! I totally loved her from the start. I can't believe she's only 17! That's like 2 years older than me :0. I LOVE MELINDA TOO! She's so freaking cute! I realised something today (or yesterday) during english. The last episode of American Idol will be shown while we're at camp. AGAIN. Just like last year's at Kem Kaizen. I miss that place. And I remembered Mrs Chong telling us, 'cos her friend SMSed her to tell her. I hope the instructors will tell us who won, if not my head will probably explode with all the excitement. Uhh, yeah. I FINALLY got round to cutting my hair. Went to SICC to cut my hair. The hairdresser's so funny. He's a bald dude and once, he was like "Eh, your hair very thick. Can transplant some to me?" Haha, he's so funny. Guess how much he chopped off (you realised I said chopped, not cut)? My mom said it was like 4 inches, which is like 10.2 cm. So now, my hair is really short, compared to before I cut it. My head feels lighter :)

After that I went to swim, which felt GREAT. The last time I swam, was last year in December with my sister. That was like AGES ago. Now my back hurts. But totally worth it. My mom watched The Last King Of Scotland. It's about the Uganda president, Idi Amin. My mom said that it was super brutal (no wonder it was M18) and she described it to me. Gross. Ah, whatever. Need to do my Linear Law assignment now. Whoopeedeedo.

Happy International Friendship Day! International relations are important, you know. Anyway, the concert today went pretty well, but it was kinda long. Good job LTC Hummingbird! Lyddie and I were the emcees for the event. I was as nervous as hell. Lyddie was some British career woman and I was Ugly Betty (woohoo.) My clothes were so gross. A huge flowery shirt with a longish black skirt and school shoes. But after a while, I wasn't so nervous. I could see Evan laughing like crazy. The scholars' item was so cute! Especially when Tram and her friend were singing! Methodist Walk yesterday. Gosh, ACSI is HUGE. I remember going there in kindergarten once a year for the annual school play. In nursery, I was a doctor, in K1 I was the Chinese New Year "nian" that's afraid of red paper and in K2, I was the lion from David and the Lion. HAHA. Ahh, those blissful years. ANYWAY, it's been ages since I've been there. My shirt was HUGE. It was like XXL. I totally should have gotten XL. I swear, I felt like I was wearing a parachute. Walked with Megan and Inessa. Talked about everything under the sun. So fun.

After the walk, went to Lianne's house. Man, that house is also HUGE. So many HUGE things on Saturday. Haha. Anyway, it was very productive. Yay us! Shot the room raiders video for IFD. This week has been really busy and hectic. GEL thing on Friday. Gosh, I was as nervous as hell. I swear, even a blind person could have told that I was super nervous. After our performance, Meg, YY, Diane, Mrs Seetoh and I went to Woodlands Regional Library to present our Project Petway idea. Once again, I was super nervous. Blogging from Melbourne bebehh. In my sister's apartment now. It's really small, but it's pretty nice and cosy, I guess. Went for my cousin(Jonathan)'s wedding dinner on Sunday. Mrs Pandian wasn't in school today again. Suyi, Stacey and I started playing a different type of multi-sport. We used Stacey's racket and a balled up sheet of paper to play. The cultures of creativity wasn't as boring as I thought it'll be. The art gallery wasn't too bad, the nobel prize thing was pretty interesting, but the Sec 1s in my group were such freakgeeks. My sister came to school today. Not only did she wear my top, she wore my skirt too. She says that she hates the present canteen system thing. Don't blame her for that. Hello everyone! Sorry for not updating for so long, it's because of that earthquake in Taiwan that damaged the stupid undersea cables. Recap!

Went to my grandma's house for christmas dinner. Had turkey, but I didn't eat it. Just ate the salad and satay. You know the stuffing for the turkey didn't even thaw? So the stuffing just came out looking like a giant sausage. Disgusting. Then after that my sister and I went to my aunt's house to stay over. Watched Garfield 2, You, Me and Dupree, Derailed and Inside Man. Garfield 2 is SO CUTE! You, Me and Dupree is just plain funny. Derailed is really twisty. Inside Man is really cool.

My sister and I went out on Tuesday. She wanted to inquire about her new iPod nano, which she received yesterday. That means I'll be getting her old one (as usual). We watched Night At The Museum. It's hilarious. It's a must-watch.

Went to visit my cousin's son again yesterday. HE CANNOT GET ANY CUTER! He's so fat! Because he's so fat, there are MANY folds in his arms and legs. So whenever my aunt and my cousin's wife bathes him, one of them has to pull open the folds to wash that area. Ha. He's like 8.5 kg. I was carrying him for a while, but after a while I just HAD to put him down. You know why? My entire left arm became numb and pain was just shooting up and down my arm. And he puts EVERYTHING into him mouth. Like when my mom was carrying him, he started sucking on her chin. And started sucking my aunt's nose. His dad (my cousin) said that he's growing teeth already. Can feel, but just can't see. He's learnt how to sit down. He looks so cute when he does, because he so fat and therefore he looks like a monk. He's one hell of a picky baby. When he sleeps, someone must be carrying him, if not, he'll start crying and he sounds like a siren. Only difference is, a siren can be switched off. This baby can't. And, he's started smiling already. SO CUTEEEEEEEE!

Jiang started yesterday. Douglas fractured his leg while playing tennis. Lao Shi ACTUALLY kept her promise: She bought bubblegum for us from China! HAHA.

WUZAAAAAAP. I just came back from my vacation yesterday. I had so much fun. Will post pictures soon. Went to L.A, Utah, one day in Seattle and Vancouver. And guess what? I GREW TWO NEW MOLES OVER THE VACATION! Hahaha. One under my nose and one on my toe. We went to Disneyland in L.A. I had like the best time there. The rides were awesome. There's another theme park that's next to it. It's California Adventure Park. We spent three days in L.A. In California Adventure Park, they have Aladdin musicals and we watched it like twice. It's pretty good, I guess. The rides in California Adventure Park are wilder, more fun. My favourite ride is probably California Screamin'. It's so freaking cool. It's a roller coaster and its REALLY long. One of the longest in the U.S, I think. Then my second favourite is Tower of terror. It's like a free-fall. You go into an elevator, strap yourself to the seats, and the elevator will go up, then it will just DROP. Like 13 storeys. So cool. My sister and I went on Tower of Terror and California Screamin' like 4 or 5 times. You'll never guess who I saw at California Adventure Park. I saw Emily! The SBC girl with her sister, Pearly. What a coincidence! The rides in Disneyland itself are really tame, but I really like the "It's a Small World" ride. It's just such a happy ride. At Disneyland, there's fireworks EVERY night. And the fireworks are just so amazing. We only watched the fireworks on the first night because it was too windy on the last two nights we were there which kinda bummed me out. What kinda saddens me is that some other kids don't get to enjoy the kind of happiness that we enjoy, which brings me to realise that we ARE really fortunate. You know what? Oprah should like bring like those poor kids to Disneyland. It'll be way cool. They'll have so much fun.

Then after L.A, we went to Park City, in Utah. We stayed there for like 2 weeks. I skied for like 8 days, I think. And it has taken a great toll on my knees. Seriously. I can't even run anymore. Shit. But skiing was so fun. We stayed in Park City, which is one of the moutains, but we also went to other mountains like The Canyons and Deer Valley. Deer Valley is probably my favourite mountain. The snow there is amazing. In case some of you don't know, Park City is where I ran into the brick wall and had to get 3 stitches done on my forehead. I can show you the scar if you want. We stayed opposite the grocery store, so we went there like almost everyday to buy water. You have like no idea how much water we drank. We drank like 20 gallons of water. My sister and I saw these baguettes and we were like jedis, but this time, we were breadis haha, so lame right? I had lessons in Park City. My instructor was this italian guy called Pier, he's so funny. He asked me what a moose was. Turns out that he used to work at Whislter. Which is pretty cool. I like Whislter and all, but THERE ARE SO MANY BLOODY SINGAPOREANS THERE. That's what I hate about it. My sister and I came up with a list of cute guys. And we gave them really weird names like indian dude, grill guy, Aladdin 1, Aladdin 2 and last year, there was Denver guy, purple T-shirt guy and other really crazy stuff.

After Utah was Vacouver. We drove down to Seattle for some shopping. I bought a new top, jeans, pajama pants, earrings and some other stuff. Then we drove back for EATING. That's like the main reason why we go to Vancouver, and shopping too. We went to this Japanese all you can eat buffet thing. OMG. The sashimi there is SOOOO thick. If you compare it with the sashimi here, the sashimi there is like King Kong. Seriously, the Jap food is good. Then we ordered like sushi as well, but we didnt eat the rice, so we put it into a bowl and used a piece of lettuce to cover the rice. Hahaha. We went there like twice. We also went to this all you can eat meat buffet thing. Usually, I don't take meat, but the meat was just SOOO good, so I ate the chicken, sausage and the beef. Then my dad and I had grilled bananas with ice cream. SO GOOD. Basically, Vancouver was just shopping and eating. But I had fun. We flew back like four days later. Then flight to Hong Kong was 12 and a half hours, but it wasn't as bad as the goddamned flight we took from Hong Kong to L.A. Thanks to the bloody jetlag, I'll be sleeping now. CIAO!

HELLO EVERYONE. I'm blogging from Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm on vacation. No, its not as if I've disappeared from the face of this earth you know. This vacation is SO fun. I'm gonna start skiing tomorrow and I can't wait to hit the blacks. Hopefully the snow here will be as good as the snow in Aspen, Colorado. L.A was our first stop. We took a plane from Singapore to Hong Kong, which took like 3 and a half hours, then from Hong Kong to L.A, which took like 11 hours and 43 minutes or something like that. The flight from Hong Kong to L.A was one of the worst flights for me. The stupid flight was super turbulent and I puked 3 times. Man, was it terrible. But I have to say, it was really worth it. L.A was SO MUCH FUN! We went to Disneyland and the rides were wicked awesome. After this we'll be heading to Vancouver, Canada. Will blog more about the trip when I get back to Singapore. Meanwhile, HAPPY HOLIDAYS YA'LL!

Yes indeed, she is a pig. Anyway, that night I had this really weird dream. I dreamt that Inessa was migrating to Miami and I was bawling and crying my eyes out. Seriously. I think I was crying in my sleep, because in the morning, my eyes felt really weird. Oh, on Wednesday, I went to Raffles Hotel for lunch (buffet). Oh god, the food was REALLY good. I started playing with my M&Ms that I put into my ice cream.

WOOHOOOO!!! We got our class lists today. I'm quite happy with my class next year. I'm in 3D. There's Megan, Noelle, Inessa, Stacey, Michelle Tan, Andrea Fang, Jo-Ann, Suyi, Joy, Belicia, and MANY MANY MORE. Oh yes, if anybody doesnt know where to get your class lists, here's what you do:

1. Go to "View All Modules" at the top right hand corner of the page.
2. Under "My Workspace", click "Workspace".
3. On the left hand side, there's a column that says "Personal" and "Shared". Click "Shared".
4. Click "Class List 2007 [Miss Michelle Tok]"
5. VOILÁ! Yes, I know, I'm so great :D:D:D:D
